13 IPS officers promoted

RANCHI: Chief minister Arjun Munda on Saturday approved the promotion of 13 IPS officers of the state cadre. The promotion was approved by Munda on the basis of recommendation of departmental promotion committee headed by the chief secretary. Officials in the chief minister's secretariat said while three IPS officers were promoted to the rank of inspector general (IG) of police, 10 others were promoted as deputy inspector general (DIG). The officers promoted as IG include Tadasha Mishra, Sampat Meena and Vinay Kumar Pandey. Those who have been promoted as DIG include Ashish Batra, T Kandaswami, Praveen Kumar, Priya Dubey, Parmeshwar Ravidas, Dadanji Sharma, Biglal Oraon, Mohammad Nehal, MP Lakra and Arun Kumar Singh.
